Software & IT connection

The machines and conveyor technology of the high bay are SPS controlled. Communication with the warehouse management system (WMS) takes place via a central SPS or via a material flow controller (MFC). The interface communication is optionally implemented via wifi or hardwiring.

M2M communication between machines/conveyor technology and the MFC takes place via OPC UA interface with TCP/IP. Other interface communication types such as MQTT (VDA5050) would of course also be possible.
