Outdoor tugger train series Factory Train FT800
Safe and economical in-house material transport both indoors and outdoors. Driving on public roads is also possible (with special authorisation).
The FT800 outdoor series
The Factory Train FT800 tugger train series from Neumaier Industry is designed for outdoor use. Road surfaces such as paving stones, tar and concrete or uneven ground such as potholes, low kerbs or level crossings pose no challenge for the Factory Train FT800 tugger train series. On the contrary: the running gear is specially designed for these types of surfaces and ground conditions. Swing axles, swivelling bearings, high suspension and ground clearance as well as the standard SE tyres offer maximum outdoor capability and a high level of ride comfort. The trolleys can lift up to 3,000 kg with the lifting function, and the goods carriers can be raised up to 200 mm from the ground.
Customised load carrier systems
The load carrier systems (trailers) are very diverse and range from simple C-frames for Euro pallet dimensions and one-sided loading to universal platform frames that can be loaded on both sides. These can be loaded/unloaded on both sides, both by hand and with warehouse equipment or forklift trucks. The internal dimensions can vary and range up to a total internal dimension of up to 4.5 metres for the transport of several load carriers in one load carrier. The transport securing can be customised and adapted to the load carriers, e.g. with additional struts, locks or quite simply with the QS system (QuickSave) from Neumaier: the rollers of the trolleys are automatically locked when the load carrier is lifted.
Wind and rainproof weather protection
The load carriers can be equipped with a wind and rainproof weather protection system to ensure that the goods being transported are optimally protected in all weathers and conditions. A tapered aluminium roof, horizontal struts in the tarpaulin and the labyrinth guide of the tarpaulin prevent the tarpaulin from bending in the wind, so that no water can penetrate. The weather protection system is available on one or both sides, depending on whether the load carrier can be operated on one or both sides. It can be operated either manually by hand or electrically at the touch of a button. An automatic function is also possible. In this case, the weather protection door opens/closes automatically when the lift function is activated.
Special licence §70 StVZO
Do public roads have to be crossed by the tugger train? Is the company premises divided into two parts by a road? Although there is no ABE (general operating licence) and generally applicable regulations or ordinances for tugger trains, the operator of the Factory Train tugger train can submit an application for an exemption permit in accordance with §70 StVZO to the responsible regional council. This is because the Factory Train tugger train fulfils all the requirements for this exemption. For this purpose, a certified testing centre (e.g. TÜV) will issue a corresponding certificate for the Factory Train tugger train.
